Rutgers-Camden Forum

Members of the Camden community will share their views on the role that Rutgers–Camden plays in their city and their concerns about the proposal for Rutgers–Camden to be taken over by Rowan University during an open forum.

Speakers will include New Jersey State Senator Donald Norcross (D.-5); Jodina Hicks, executive director of UrbanPromise; Vanessa Jones, president of the LEAP Academy Parent Council; Gloria Martinez Vega, principal of the Molina School; and Bryan Morton, president of Concerned Citizens of North Camden.

They will be joined by Camden citizens and Rutgers–Camden faculty, alumni, and students for a discussion about Rutgers’ role as an active anchor institution in the City of Camden.

The forum will be in 401 Penn classroom, which is accessible from the side of the Paul Robeson Library, facing the School of Law off of Fifth Street.
