’s marching band added to its accolades last week, as the Gloucester County freeholders honored the 77-member unit was for (ACC) title.
The freeholders recognized the band before the start of their meeting Wednesday, lauding the members for their hard work and success.
“It takes a lot of dedication for these young people…to do well, to excel,” freeholder Heather Simmons said. “These young men and young women have given a lot of their time…a lot of themselves to this.”
Besides the ACC championship, the band also won its sixth straight chapter title and went wire-to-wire through the season, winning every competition they entered.
