GCC Offers Free ESL Classes Starting This Month

Three sessions give locals the chance to improve their English-language skills.

South Jersey residents who need help developing reading, writing and English-speaking skills can enroll in Gloucester County College's spring English as a Second Language program, which starts three sessions this month.

The free classes, funded by a grant awarded by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Gloucester County Workforce Investment Board, run between 11 and 15 weeks.

  • Williamstown Middle School—March 12 to May 23, Monday and Wednesday, 
6 to 9 p.m.
  • Swedesboro branch of the Gloucester County Library—March 19 to June 27, Monday and Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Gloucester County Family Success Center in Woodbury—March 26 to June 7, Monday and Thursday, 1 to 3 p.m.
