The 10-year agreement between Rowan University and Gloucester County College to make a four-year degree possibly less expensive and more convenient for local students began on July 1 according to courierpostonline.com.
Once students earn their two-year degree at the newly-named Rowan College at Gloucester, they will be conditionally accepted to Rowan, based on their grade point average (GPA).
They will be permitted to finish their degree at Rowan University’s Glassboro campus, or enroll in Rowan University classes at the Gloucester County campus at a 15 percent discount.
The arrangement is not a full merger between the schools, and employees will remain unaffected.
