Photo Gallery: WD Halloween Parades

Postponing the parades didn't make a difference for the students of Oakview, Red Bank and Green-Fields elementary schools.

Hurricane Sandy wasn't going to rain on these parades. On Friday, Nov. 2, students came donning their Halloween duds and proceeded to parade around the school yards for a packed crowd of parents.

Even though Halloween activities and trick-or-treating will not be held till Monday, Nov. 5, nothing was stopping the students of Oakview, Green-Fields and Red Bank elementary schools from getting into the Halloween spirit. Complete with superheros, princesses and spooky creatures, the parades went on as if Oct. 31 had never past.

Joining the kids in their Halloween fun, were many teachers with costumes of their own, including Red Bank Elementary Principal Karry Corbitt, who is running for president this Halloween.
