Preview Monday's West Deptford Board of Education Agenda

The biggest item on the agenda concerns a proposal to shift the preparation and submission timeline for the school budget.

Some changes could be coming to the West Deptford school district budget submission process, according to the agenda for the township Board of Education (BOE) meeting.

As the district has moved its election of board members to coincide with the regular November political elections—a move that also doesn't require the district to hold an April school budget vote—the West Deptford BOE is proposing a resolution that it be given extra time to prepare and submit its annual school budget.

The budget shift is the biggest item noted on the agenda, which also includes a request to purchase championship jackets and plaques to commemorate the achievements of the tournament champion West Deptford High School marching band.
