Sports Week in Review/Preview: April 25

A look back at the week that was and ahead to what will be.

The schedule slowed down a bit last week with some schools on spring break, but there was still plenty of action to go around. The week saw the baseball and softball team experience the joy and agony of the last inning, while the boys track team just missed out on victory in an impressive tie. The Eagles had just one game, losing a stunning 4-3 decision to Sterling. West Deptford led 3-0 entering the bottom of the seventh but the Knights rallied to score four runs off losing pitcher Tony Urban. Much of the damage was self-inflicted, as the inning consisted of just two hits, but two hit batters, a walk and two errors. The loss dropped the Eagles to 5-4.
