Last week, each lacrosse team competed in playoff action, and this week sees the start of the baseball and softball playoffs, as well as the track teams competing in sectionals and the golf team taking aim at conference and county crowns. Below is a look at the week that was and what is on the horizon.

The Eagles today as they travel to the bottom of the state to take on Middle Township. West Deptford earned a No. 10 seed in the NJSIAA Group II playoffs, so any type of playoff run will almost certainly have to take place on the road.

Unfortunately, the team will not be bringing any momentum into the postseason, as it lost the only game it got in during a rainy week, 7-2 to Lenape. That brought the team’s losing streak to four games.
