Sports Week in Review/Preview: Track Standouts

A look back at the week that was featuring big wins from the softball team and big performances on the track.

The past seven days has seen plenty of movement for West Deptford teams, both good and bad. The boys' lacrosse team continues to exceed expectations, while the softball team has hit its stride. The week was not as kind to the baseball and boys' tennis teams, though. Here is a look back at the week that was and ahead to what's coming up.

BASEBALL

The baseball team hit a real cold patch last week, dropping three straight games, after an 11-2 to start the week. The Eagles lost to Colonial Conference foes Woodbury and Audubon, as well as Deptford in non-conference action. The team was hoping to enter the postseason with some serious momentum but will need a big week for that to happen. Also on the diamond, we looked at to the team.
