Viewfinder: Tournament of Bands at West Deptford High School
West Deptford High School hosted its annual Tournament of Bands competition on Saturday afternoon and evening.
As is the case every October, high school marching bands from around the area converged on West Deptford High School on Saturday to compete at the school's annual Tournament of Bands competition.
This year, 22 high schools participated in a nearly six-hour long festival of visual arts and music. A number of area South Jersey schools took home prizes. The host, West Deptford, came away with the second-best score across all of the schools, despite being ineligible to win prizes as the host.
