Viewfinder: West Deptford vs. Haddonfield Softball
The two teams played for a cause Wednesday night.
West Deptford's Marissa Linquist crushed a three-run home run and the team jumped out to a 6-0 lead after three innings, as the Eagles beat Haddonfield, 10-2, in a pink-and-black-themed game that raised money and awareness for breast cancer research.
Linquist and Sydney Ponto combined on the mound for the win, which puts the Eagles at 11-4 on the season.
