WD Marching Band Still on Top of Division

The Marching Eagles scored an 87.6 at their competition in Collingswood on Saturday, just enough to keep them atop the Group 2 Open standings.

The West Deptford Marching Eagles continued to blow away their competition this weekend, as they easily put up the top score in their competition at Collingswood High School on Saturday. It was their first time competing against other South Jersey schools this season.

West Deptford scored an 87.6 for their performance, nearly five full points higher than second-place Timber Creek (82.8). Host school Collingswood finished in third place with a score of 82.6.

The Marching Eagles' score on Saturday was just enough to keep them on top of the Group 2 Open Division standings. They have the best score in their division by just one-tenth of a point over Deptford High School (87.5). The only schools across every division that have higher scores than West Deptford are Pennsauken and Brick.
