WDHS Boys' Basketball Snaps Streak Against Colls

It had been a long time since the boys’ basketball team tasted victory against Colonial Conference foe Collingswood.

Eight years, in fact.

Fifteen games' worth of frustration.

On Tuesday, the demons were exorcised, as the Eagles dominated the Panthers, 66-43, to improve to 5-3 on the season.

Senior Tom Jakuboswski led the way offensively, pouring in 19 of his season-high 31 points in the second half. Sophomore point guard Justin Hansen also had his shot going, as he filled the nets up for 17 points.

Tim Fair added eight points for the Eagles, who were playing in their first of five-straight on the road.
