West Deptford Boys' Basketball Dominates Gators

The Eagles stomp out the Gators with an early lead, bringing home a 59-16 victory.

Coming off of Tuesday’s loss against Collingswood, West Deptford boys’ basketball redeemed themselves in a big way with a final score of 59-16 against Gateway Thursday night.

Starting with a 12-point lead in the first quarter, the Eagles set the tone for the rest of the game. Consistently putting points up on the board, the Eagles were able to end the second quarter with a score of 33-4.

Carrying that momentum into the second half of the game, the Eagles continued to dominate the Gators—putting up 17 more points in the third quarter and adding another nine in the fourth.

With a record of 11-6, West Deptford will go on to face Bordentown at home on Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. Bordentown currently sits with a record of 8-9, coming off of a loss from Burlington City.
