West Deptford Boys' Basketball Gets Back on Track

The Eagles took fifth in the Delran Holiday Tournament with a win over Pennsauken Tech.

A day after dropping to .500 on a young season in a loss to Delran, the boys' basketball team got right back to work, pulling their record to 3-2 in a 60-46 win over Pennsauken Tech in the fifth-place game Tuesday at the Delran Holiday Tournament.

It was a balanced effort from the Eagles, who took a slim lead early and outscored Pennsauken Tech in every quarter. Kyle Redrow and Tim Fair each had 15 points, Tom Jakubowski added 11, while Tim Krott had four steals and three assists to go with his 10 points.

Pennsauken Tech's Brandon Rembert was an offensive powerhouse, churning out more than half his team's scoring, but it wasn't nearly enough to catch the Eagles, who pulled away with a 35-point second half.
