West Deptford Boys’ Lacrosse Secures Home Playoff Game
The Eagles will open against Red Bank Thursday.
The boys’ lacrosse team drew a seed in the top half of the New Jersey Group 1 tournament, and will host a playoff opener Thursday at the football stadium.
The Eagles drew the No. 13 spot in the 31-team tournament, which, due to a smaller number of schools fielding lacrosse teams, features squads from across the state, eliminating any sectional play.
They’ll play host to Red Bank Regional High School (10-6), which plays in the Shore Conference, Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

The winner of that game will advance to play either Rumson, another Shore Conference power, or Newton in the second round.
