West Deptford Boys' Tennis Seeded No. 12 in Sectional Tournament

West Deptford’s boys’ tennis team has drawn the No. 12 seed in the South Jersey, Group 2 tournament, and faces a long route on the road through the playoffs.

The Eagles will open Thursday at Cinnaminson, the No. 5 seed, in the first round. A win would put them facing either No. 4 Woodstown or No. 13 Bridgeton in the quarterfinals.

Haddonfield, the No. 1 seed and prohibitive favorite, is also on West Deptford’s side of the draw.

After starting the season off with three weeks of losses, the Eagles have turned it around lately, winning three of their last four matches.
