West Deptford Girls' Basketball Drops Woodstown in SJ Invitational

The Eagles stormed back in the fourth quarter in the opening-round win.

It was shades of the Eagles' win over Haddonfield earlier this year: Megan Kirschling snagged a late steal, converted the layup, and a third-quarter deficit disappeared, as West Deptford used a 17-point fourth quarter to take down Woodstown in the opening round of the South Jersey Invitational at Monday night.

While Kirschling provided the heroics, it was the team's core five who pulled together the scoring—Kirschling had 12 on the night, second to Danielle McKeown, who dropped 13 on the Wolverines.

Tarryn Bundy (8), Megan Knoblock (7) and Paige Paratore (5) rounded out the scoring for West Deptford, which improved to 12-6 with the win.
