West Deptford Girls' Basketball Dumps 'Dawgs

Megan Kirschling scored the game-winner against Haddonfield off a steal with 15 seconds left.

The West Deptford girls' basketball team flipped a first-half deficit and added a dash of drama, as the Eagles came back to beat Haddonfield Thursday night on Megan Kirschling's steal and basket with 15 seconds left in the game.

The win pushes the Eagles, winners of three in a row, to 5-2 on the young season and dropped Haddonfield to 3-3.

It was a rough first half for West Deptford, as Haddonfield built a 20-12 advantage at the break. Everything changed after the break, though–the Eagles chipped that down to just a 2-point difference after the third before finishing off the Bulldawgs late.
