West Deptford Girls’ Lacrosse Scores No. 7 Seed

The Eagles will host Lower Cape May to open the playoffs.

Despite hitting a rough patch as the cutoff approached, the West Deptford girls’ lacrosse team has earned a home playoff game, avoiding a potential long road trip to open the playoffs Monday.

The Eagles will host Lower Cape May (7-6) in the opening round of the South Group 2 tournament Monday, with the winner moving on to face either a ride up to Monmouth County and Allentown, or a home game against Lawrence High School.

West Deptford will go into the playoffs on a high note, after a 14-6 win over Gloucester Catholic Friday.
