West Deptford Soccer Sweeps Woodbury

The girls win, 7-0, while the boys win, 3-1.

Behind a hat trick from Megan Sullivan and contributions from nine other players, the West Deptford girls' soccer team peppered Woodbury with 20 shots in a 7-0 road win Wednesday.

The Eagles got goals from Sullivan, Sam Budd, Liz Douglas, Crystal Forkey and Paige Paratore. Assists came from Budd, Tina Furfari, Makenna Moreno, Rita Prinz, Jordan Stanek and Megan Knoblock, who had a pair.

On the defensive side, Maggie Davis made three saves and Anna Kipp stopped a fourth shot.

On the boys' side, Joe Mingrino, Kevin Keane and Lew Hunter all scored, as the Eagles staked themselves to a 2-0 lead on the way to a 3-1 win.
