West Deptford Softball Gets No. 6 Seed, Home Game in Playoffs
The Eagles will open against Willingboro next week.
’s softball team scored a seed in the bottom half of the draw in the South Jersey, Group 2 tournament, and will get to play at least once at home when play begins next week.
The Eagles are seeded No. 6, and will play Willingboro at West Deptford to open the playoffs Tuesday.
If they can get past the Chimeras, the Eagles have a Colonial Conference foe in the second round—either No. 14 Collingswood or No. 3 Haddon Heights, a team that’s handed them a pair of tough losses this season and .
