West Deptford Wrestling Drops Deptford, Pennsville, Still Undefeated

’s wrestlers survived another tough test, sweeping a tri-meet Saturday to keep their unblemished mark intact.

The Eagles handled Deptford easily, 49-22, getting pins from Rory Bonner, Cody Eastlack, Griffin Bonner, Tyler Kaminsky, Evan Zuzulock, Christian Terinoni and Eugene Marshall.

Pennsville, not surprisingly, proved a tougher test.

Much like , West Deptford fell behind early, but when the lightweights came up, things changed in a hurry.

West Deptford scored six straight wins, starting with Tyler Kaminsky at 113 pounds, with three pins and a technical fall in that mix, to seal the 35-29 win over Pennsville, which has been ranked as one of the top 10 Group 1 programs in the state this season.

Another set of challenges looms for West Deptford this week, with Haddon Township Wednesday, Haddonfield Friday night at home and a quad meet next weekend against Pennsauken, Eastern and Egg Harbor Township.
