Boys Tie, Girls Fall to Haddon Heights Soccer

It was the second tie of the season for the boys, with the other also coming against the Garnets.

A late night under the lights at turned into an even later night, as the boys' soccer team went to overtime with Haddon Heights for the second time this season, and for the second time came away with a draw.

Tim Krott and Kyle Redrow scored for the Eagles, who matched the Garnets with a goal in each half, before both teams were stymied in overtime. Kevin Brockway recorded six saves to salvage the tie.

Meanwhile, the girls suffered just their fourth loss of the season in a tight, 3-2 game.

Both teams launched a barrage of shots–31 between the two squads–but teh Garnets were able to hold on to their first-half lead and deny the Eagles a season sweep.

West Deptford's Tarryn Bundy and Megan Sullivan scored, with assists from Danielle McKeown and Lily Kalczewski. Keeper Alicia Barger made 14 saves on the afternoon.
