Mother Nature Wreaks Havoc on Little League Schedule
Weekend games have been shifted around and rescheduled.
If you wanted to catch a lot of Little League action this weekend, the storms did you a favor: with Friday's slate of games wiped out by thunderstorms, there's no shortage of action Saturday and Sunday.
The West Deptford Little League 11-12 all-stars will play both days, facing off against Glassboro at 10 a.m. Saturday and East Greenwich at noon on Sunday. Both games are at West Deptford's Jep Penny Field.
Their District 15 elimination tournament would then start Monday night at 6 p.m., either at Mantua or Clayton.

The West Deptford Junior League baseball team also gets a pair of games on the weekend, taking on Swedesboro/Woolwich at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a Sunday game at 2 p.m. against Mantua.
Both of those games are at West Deptford, as well.

The West Deptford Junior League softball team, meanwhile, has to wait until Sunday to play. They'll head to Mantua at 5 p.m. to face the loser of the Clayton–Swedesboro/Woolwich game, which takes place Saturday afternoon.
