Three Hundred Set to Compete in RiverWinds Triathlon Sunday

Organizers are asking people to keep an eye out for racers on the open-road course.

More than 300 athletes will compete in the RiverWinds triathlon Sunday morning, which will see athletes zipping through West Deptford in the three legs of the race starting at 7:30 a.m.

The bike and run courses are on open roads–the course maps are available online–and organizers have asked drivers to be aware of competitors on Crown Point, Mantua Grove and Jessup roads, as well as Kings Highway and Grove Avenue.

Spectators are also asked not to park directly along the bike route to watch the competition, but are encouraged to check out the action from around RiverWinds Park.
