Taking the field from West Deptford is powerhouse player Josh Cornelius, a recent graduate whose performance during high school soared the Eagles to new heights.

Cornelius excelled when needed most this past season, helping the Eagles reach the title game on his 22 carries and two touchdowns in the December game. The Eagles went on to win the Group 2 South title.

Now Cornelius gets one more high school game under his belt.

Not only do the players participating in this classic match up get the experience of going against the best competition in the state, they also get the experience of a four-day and night football camp that leads up to the game.

Players moved into their short-term homes at Kean University on Friday morning. Gerry Gallagher, head coach at Montville, will be running the sideline for the North and recently retired Palmyra head coach Ty Belford will run things for the South.
