West Deptford Basketball Falls to Paulsboro

Going up against Paulsboro, both boys' and girls' varsity basketball failed to walk away with a victory.

Proving to be a tough night for West Deptford basketball, both the girls’ and boys’ squads were unable to pull out a win against the Paulsboro Red Raiders Thursday night.

An early lead was key for an undefeated Paulsboro boys' team, as they pulled ahead of West Deptford early in the first quarter, with a lead of 29-5. While the Eagles managed to put more points on the board the following quarters, they still were no match for the Red Raiders, who outscored the West Deptford 67-42.

West Deptford boys’ basketball will go on to play Camden County Vocational Technical on Saturday, Jan. 12 at noon.
