First-year coach Casey Heitman said after West Deptford’s loss to Cherry Hill East that it would take time for the girls, but that they were learning a lot defensively and offensively. With five new starters, the team has a very different look to it from the prior year. However, Heitman commended her girls, by saying that the record does not accurately reflect how much the team has learned, so far this year.
