West Deptford Senior Football Locks Up TCMFL Championship Berth

The Eagles will make it a championship two-fer Saturday.

With the high school team already set for a championship battle, the West Deptford Senior midget football squad rolled into the semis of the Tri-County Midget Football League with an eye on a title shot of their own.

West Deptford got it done with a dominant running game, which rolled up 224 yards at a 6.4-yards-per-attempt clip. Derrick Clement, who ran for 103 of those yards, scored on a three-yarder, and quarterback Nick Diaco ran for one score and passed for another to receiver Bobby Brewer to give the Eagles the nail-biting win.
