New Jersey Family Hosting Easter Egg Hunt Sees Skydiver Fall to His Death

Police have identified the skydiver who died Sunday in Washington Township after falling into a backyard, according to 6abc.

At around 2:10 p.m., the Dye family of Washington Township was holding their annual Easter egg hunt when they noticed the usual sight of the skydivers, according to 6abc.

Authorities say the skydiver then fell into a nearby backyard at Cross Keys Bypass and Tuckahoe Road. Authorities say 49-year-old Arkady Shenker of Brooklyn died of his injuries at Kennedy Hospital Sunday afternoon, according to 6abc.
