R U KIDDING ME May 23, 2013 at 03:02 am
Did they build a new building or move into an existing building? Where in West Deptford are they…Read More located? Did anyone from West Deptford help convince Zoo to move to town or did we just get lucky? How big is their building? How much will this new company add to West Deptford taxes? How about telling us the whole story Patch.

The address for Zoo Printing is 551 Mid Atlantic Pkwy, which is described as a "modern,…Read More one-story industrial building situated on 3.31 acres within the Mid Atlantic Corporate Center, a master planned industrial park." Square footage looks like 25-50,000; not sure how much of that is occupied at present.
Chintall said that West Deptford works with the county business development team but competes regularly with other GlouCo communities like Logan Twp. for customers to lease its industrial and commercial real estate space. The call to come here was really a choice made by Zoo Printing because of its ability to reach customers within a shipping timeframe, as reported above. No word on how much business the company can be expected to add to the borough's books, and Bentz wouldn't comment on a dollar figure for how much business Zoo Printing does.
What else would you like to know?

Not in my eyes. I don't give Wawa my money for anything if I can help it. I live right off of Rt 45…Read More and I NEVER get gas at the Wawa on 45. Pioneer gets my money. Wawa is always too mobbed and for God's sake, don't I already have plenty of options for gas? Do I need Wawa to offer it too?
Kristi Simpkins April 21, 2013 at 08:32 pm
Rob,
Just think if you are ever in need to something such as milk, eggs, etc., or just need to get…Read More gas @ a later time of night WAWA is always open 24/7. That is why so people go there. Because of the convenience their store brings to this area & every other area their stores are located in. Like it was stated before having another Super WAWA is a win. A win for the townships & more importantly a win for them.

Competition is the name of the game. If you can't compete you should not be in business. It's not…Read More the governments job to pick winners and losers in business, it's the consumers job. Congratulations to Wawa and the current Committee members who support this growth.

So proud of you both and our store employees and management who made this happen Congratulations…Read More again and God bless you both.

Employees of ShopRite are clients of the Food Bank? ShopRite needs to pay a living wage. I applaud…Read More the employees for their help in feeding their co-workers and others., not so sure about management.

The neglect towards our children is horrible.. Why must she be like this. If only she could actually…Read More go to school and learn what she thinks she learned...and the lying. Is getting bad lately. And I think she's in love with another men she hasn't even met yet.

MaDarrell McCullough June 10, 2013 at 10:00 pm
I put in an application and went to the interview but still haven't received a call or email. It's…Read More been three weeks what should I do?
Chuck Reynolds March 1, 2013 at 01:58 am
I overheard a clerk at the Thorofare Wawa say that the store has been overwhelmed with applications.…Read More Still a tough job market out there. Good luck to all who have applied.
chanel bush May 7, 2013 at 07:57 pm
yes but they have so many lines but claim not to be hiring and their hoagies just sloppy and wrong…Read More its ashame for that corp

Michelle, they are absolutely delicious! Thanks for the recipe. Added some chopped walnuts to the…Read More batter(I add nuts to everything!) and put a few choc chips on top (of a few of the muffins) before sprinkling the crumb topping on--makes for a yummy dessert with the banana/choc combo. Also had to bake them about 24 minutes--so a bit longer than the 18. They will not last long in this house!

Thanks, I always seem to have a couple of over-ripe bananas left over. Also, if you don't have time…Read More immediately to use your over-ripe bananas, just peel them, put them in a small Ziploc bag, freeze them and when you're ready to bake, just defrost for an hour or so and use. They actually make the final product moister and a bit sweeter without adding extra sugar. I will try these though...they look delicous.
Grafix Avenger January 31, 2013 at 04:57 pm
Sounds yum. Will try.
As for banana bread, here is my all-time favorite recipe- it uses 6 bananas…Read More and is incredibly moist. We add a handful of slivered almonds and semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter before baking.

Oh ya, thats right, we're suppose to hate those evil 1% rich people. Why should Steven H. Collis be…Read More able to fullfil the American dream and make all that money! He doesn't need that much money. There should be a law preventing us free Americans on making so much money. The government should be able to determine our needs and set a limit on how much we may be able to earn in order to support those needs. Anything else over the limit should be redistributed to those who are unwilling to work hard to support themselves and their family. (Note sarcasm)
R Nichols February 2, 2013 at 02:53 pm
Tom, you've completely missed the point here.
This discussion is over WHY the jobs have been lost.…Read More You blame obama's failed policies, obamacare, the fiscal cliff & whatever else Fox News tells you to be mad about. But if anything, this company has prospered & yet has chosen to shutter the doors. Incidentally, did you catch that they never said WHY they were closing??? It truly amazes me how greedy corporations & politicians can piss all over you people & make you believe it's just a little sun shower!
reality February 2, 2013 at 04:52 pm
Profits are up....really? Is that up from last year, 2 years ago, 4 years......pretty sure every…Read More company is now making a little more money than in years past. Guess what people, there is not one, what ever party they are in, that gives one little thought of any of us common folk. The new ruling party thinks we will be better off if we all make the same while they still make millions. That won't work either. Answer is less Government and the repubilicans talk it, but they don't do it and the democrats understand completely to stay in business, keep people needing them.
Were all doomed...I am eating 2,000 chicken wings and drinking 4 cases a beer today......no need to go to work tomorrow, its all useless

Man Pudge the shop looks fantastic! I cant wait to see it in person! With Weasel at the helm, you…Read More will do great!

Raysam, you need to stop acting like you are in 3rd Grade. Def. a coffee shop/good bakery would be…Read More great for the area, it is much needed.
William Docherty, businesses are closing down everywhere, ever read the news?? I've noticed quite a few businesses moving into WD, that is great leadership by Chintall and Cianfarini!

Any store going in there is going to have a problem from the lot being packed, ShopRite offering…Read More most food items, Big Lots offering discount stuff, and Staples offering office and tech items. A Starbucks may not be able to get enough traffic to make it worth the cost of opening/running, but it would be a very nice start. What about a Home Brewers' resource store to compliment the Canals and the Shoprite?

I wish them all the luck in their new location!
