Because he's a disgrace to men & women in uniform. Most police officers aren't the "bad guys" & do this to people. The ones that are bad like him should be held accountable for their actions. I'm glad he was held accountable & liable. It doesn't matter who he was going after. The fact that he went after Mr. Moriarty & had no valid reasoning for doing so is the issue.
