Balloon Festival Takes Flight in Readington
More than 100 hot air balloons, musical acts and Patch are at the airport grounds all weekend.
Ready to leave your cares on the ground and lift off in a hot air balloon? Patch is out in full force at the 30th annual New Jersey Festival of Ballooning at Solberg Airport in Readington. Just find our table at the festival and sign up for our email newsletter. Then you'll get a tethered balloon ride on the house. The airport came alive with thousands of guests on Friday as the festival kicked off. The festival will continue through Sunday. It's not all balloons at the festival. There is plenty of on-the-ground entertainment, including Friday night's musical act, Eddie Money, with his hits from the '70s and '80s.
