Boys' Basketball Earns Home Playoff Game
West Deptford will be a No. 6 seed in the Group 2 playoffs.
From the start of the season the West Deptford High School boys' basketball team made it a goal to not only qualify for the postseason—as it did last year—but also to earn a home game. The NJSIAA released the boys' basketball playoff brackets Friday, revealing that the Eagles had achieved their goal. West Deptford is a No. 6 seed in South Jersey Group 2 and will host Colonial Conference foe Overbrook. The game is tentatively slated for Feb. 25. West Deptford got the better of Overbrook twice this season, but had to work for each victory.
