Last Chance to Pay This Quarter's Property Taxes

Has that property tax bill been sitting on your front table for the last couple of weeks? Today's the official deadline to pay this quarter's taxes at the township municipal building. The tax collector's office is open until 4:30 p.m. at the municipal building. Didn't get a stub, or don't know where you put yours? If you're a property owner, state law requires you to pay your taxes, either way—information's available at the tax office. Running a little late, though, or wondering if your check's going to make it through the mail in time? The good news is it isn't your absolute last chance—there's a 10-day grace period in place, which absolves you of paying interest if you pay before May 10.
