United Way Opens Registration for Spring 5K in West Deptford
While spring may seem so far away, the United Way of Gloucester County has already scheduled its inaugural "Spring into Action" 5K race.
With frigid temperatures and incessant snowfall, it's somewhat difficult to believe spring will be here soon. Although throwing on a pair of shorts and lacing up the running shoes may be the last thing on some peoples’ minds, the United Way in Gloucester County has already opened registration on this year’s “Spring into Action” 5K Race and Fun Walk. Kicking off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, the event will feature a professionally managed 5K race and one-mile fun walk course. In addition, games and activities will also be held for all children. The 5K will be held at West Deptford Park, located behind the industrial park off of Metropolitan Parkway.
