2013 Woof Walk Event To Benefit PET SAVERS

Pledgers are being sought to take part in the fun-filled Woof Walk dog walk event on Saturday, October 6th at James Atkinson Park in Sewell. The Woof Walkraises money to fund ongoing dog training, offered to qualified people who adopt dogs from South Jersey-based animal shelters. Pledge forms are available at the Manuta and Turnersville PetSmart stores, as well as Doggy Details and Hot Diggity Dog, both in Sewell, and Woof Day Care & Boarding in Mantua. Receive a PET SAVERS Woof Walk t-shirt with a minimum of $25 raised. There is a $25 registration fee for those participants who do not have any pledges. You can register online at www.petsaversnj.org via Pay Pal or register at the event that morning from 10 to 10:45 a.m.  The Woof Walk runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with the actual walk from 11 a.m. to noon). There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family, including the pooches. There will be contests for the most money raised, best Halloween costumes, fast dog races, and pooch owner look a like. Auction items, a 50/50 raffle, lots of vendors, including food and a live DJ!
